The new trend that is taking over London right now

While walking around the shopping streets of London I heard a lady talking about a totally new trend called ‘lampshading’. At first I didn’t really understand what was she talking about, thought it was a new way of throwing shade at somebody, then looked around and noticed. It is fashion and happening in London right now. We all know if something is popular in the fashion capital, then it will soon be popular everywhere else in the world, too. 

Lampshading is the composition of over-the-knee boots with an oversized shirt, jumper or dress. The term itself comes from wearing clothes resembling a lampshade thus creating an undone look. This whole new trend loosens up fashion a bit, allowing you to pair up a baggy sweater with a pair of sexy, luxury thigh-high boots. There is a change in the air, street style bloggers and fashion influencers are already showing it. 

But London is not the only place where street fashion is trending this way, celebrities like Rihanna, Chrissy Teigen, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner and not forgetting many of escorts at http://www.bunnygirlslondon.com are great fans of this type of outfit already. Many of them were caught showing off their new style on the streets of Los Angeles and New York, too. Some of them prefer a more elegant version of this outfit, others, like Kylie and Kendall opt for more rugged looks wearing Kanye’s new Jeezy pieces, it all depends on the dress or shirt you wear with your boots. It’s a perfect new maternity style trend also, proving that you can still look amazing and fashionable while pregnant. Not to mention the fact that it is and will be the absolute favorite of all the ‘lazy girls’, creating and giving them a ‘woke up like this’ look. 

Comfortable, but extremely trendy, these would be the two words that describe the best this whole new way of dressing up, optimal for you if you only have little time in the mornings, you don’t have to think too much about what to wear that day and you will still look like a real fashionista.

But this whole lampshading trend is not a totally new thing. We could experience this new style on the fashion runways last year and many Parisian brands have already implemented this upcoming and exponentially growing trend in their new designs. So why haven’t we knew about this before? Well, maybe because new trends take time to be popular and acquired or we have seen it before, but didn’t expect it to be called a new trend. All in all, it is trending right now and I definitely know what I will be wearing tomorrow.
